Atop of a lighthouse, swaying in the wind, I shot the Indies Trader fleet of famous surf charters. These boats are the original fleet pioneering surf exploration in these remote waters. Now this part of Indonesia, the Mentawai islands, are a famous integral part of the surfing world, as a stage for surfing photography and movie making. |
